He escaped from Vietnam when he was only 12 years old and lived with his uncle's family in Santa Clara, Northern of California. He studied hard and became a Manufacturing Engineer. Alex and his wife, Le Mai have been friends for 13 years and married for 15 years.
His lung cancer was first diagnosed in June 2011 and he fought and lived almost 4 years with multiple lines of treatment. In January 14 2015, he passed away peacefully in the arms of his loving wife, reuniting his spirit with his deceased parents. He is survived by his wife, his six God-children, two brothers, two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a wonderful man who always cared for and deeply loved his family and friends. People remember his smile and the good things he has done for them. He was a devoted Catholic to his death and belonged to Our Lady of Lavang Church in Santa Clara County.
He will be forever loved and greatly missed by those who knew him.
