WALTER DONALD DUCKWORTH (DON) 64 Passed with his family at his side on August 2, 2009 in his home in Beaumont, CA. Born November 26, 1944 in Norwalk, CA to Walter and Marguerite Duckworth. Don served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam on the USS Enterprise. After his military service Don went on to a career in construction leading to over 30 years of service including working in building and codes for the cities of Pam Springs, Covina and Riverside. Don is survived by his wife of 4 years Marla Walton; his children, Don (Becky) Duckworth, Steve (Leah) Duckworth, Lawrence Duckworth, and Ann Marie (Bennie) Grant; stepchildren, Terri (Paul) Garcia, Jason Hattermann, Ron (Kim) Hattermann, Robert Hattermann; his brothers, Darryl (Linda) Duckworth, Eddie (Marla) Duckworth, Bobby (Barbara) Duckworth and Vincent (Rhonda) Duckworth; 16 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Don was preceded in death by his father and mother Walter and Marguerite Duckworth, brothers John and Timothy Duckworth, and grandson Steven Duckworth
