My Aunt Dolly was one of six children born to Thomas Henry and Jane Sharples Duckworth. She met and married Frank Kilbourne; their union produced three children ~ two daughters and one son who lived for only three days ~ Thomas Frank. Aunt Dolly was a lovely feminine woman ~ tall, with beautiful chestnut hair, and big brown eyes. She was both loving and religious. When she passed on, it broke my mother's spirit ~ she was to join her in June the following year. My Auntie left behind her two dear daughters, their families; one sister, two brothers; her nieces and nephews and their families.

Thank you for visiting my aunt today. She was a Jehovah's Witness and didn't celebrate birthdays, or other holidays; though she did observe wedding anniversaries.

My mother believed in the Bible and the Lord's prayer, and the Lord's prayer said that his kingdom would come here to the earth and be made like heaven, kingdom meaning Gods government, which will be paradise on earth, she didn't want to be an angel but wanted to live with flesh and blood on this earth in paradise conditions. The Bible gives us this hope and that she firmly believed, like Revelation says there will be a resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous. Her hope wasn't to live in heaven though there are those that have that hope that are bought from the earth they are the 144,000 .After she learned about the original purpose for the earth that God made for us she was so happy to know this earth will be made into a beautiful paradise where sickness and death will be no more. All of this is in the Bible. Jesus wanted us to know about it and that was what he preached about when here on earth was his father's Kingdom, that and to die for us so we could live forever. Thanks for the picture of my mom Edie, she loved you very much too. I just wanted to add a little about what made her happy when she learned about the Bible.
