Vevia, according to my mother, Hazel Leora Jones, died at the age of 103, just 1 1/2 months shy of her 104th birthday. So, there is questions regarding her birthdate. Altho, date on tombstone may be inaccurate. I do remember her myself, and visiting with family, & seeing her at the Nursing home. Awesome and intellengent lady! She married Robert Herman Augustine 25 Mar 1893 in Wildomar, CA
Birthdate on birth certificate says 5 Dec 1869, but if she was 103 when she died, should have made it 1861, so, now wondering if family members were wrong regarding age at time of death. 8 years makes a big different.
Modesto resident for 48 years at time of death.
A member of the Womens Relief Corps.
Attended the First Christian Church.
