Linda S. Boyer, 63, of DeSoto passed away at Jefferson Regional Medical Center on February 7, 2011.

She was born June 18, 1947 in Frumet, Missouri; the daughter of the late David F. and Sadie M. (nee Sansoucie) Ketchum.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry L. Boyer in 1986.

Mrs. Boyer is survived by a son, Jerry "Jeepers" (Tina) Boyer, II of DeSoto; a daughter, Kimberly (Chris) Watkins of DeSoto; and three grandchildren: Shelby, Whitney and Nicholas.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Ketchum and sister, Juanita DeClue. Also preceded in death by a long time friend, Delmar "Whip" Johnson and her best friend, Elaine Rust.

Linda was a homemaker and the Administrator for Tri City Senior Center in Crystal City for 10 years. She loved collecting wind chimes and ink pens; she loved her family and her dogs.

Rev. Jim Owens will be officiating the service.
