Mary Lou Janet Fennessey, 57, Hermann, passed away Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, in Hermann.

Mrs. Fennessey was born Aug. 14, 1954, in Pacific, the daughter of the late Richard Withington and wife Helen, nee Turnbull.

She graduated from Pacific High School. On Sept. 29, 1973, she was united in marriage to Glenn Fennessey. The couple made their home in Washington, later in Pacific, and finally in Hermann for several years.
Mrs. Fennessey worked at Lennertson Sample Company, Hermann, for several years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Fennessey, on Dec. 17, 2001; and her parents, Richard and Helen Withington.

Mrs. Fennessey is survived by three sons, Keith Fennessey and wife Patti, Union, Dustin Fennessey and fiancee Erika, Pacific, and Brian Fennessey and wife Kristi, Hermann; five grandchildren, Devon, Dalton, Dane, Deakon and Paige Fennessey; her significant other, Daniel Shipley, Hermann; her twin sister, Janie Bacon and husband Emmett, Gerald; two brothers, Kenny Withington, Moselle, and Mike Withington and wife Mary Alice, Robertsville; other relatives and many friends.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, Dec. 14, at Oltmann Funeral Home, Union, with the Rev. Earlwood Towne officiating.

Burial was in Bethel Cemetery, Labadie.
