Joyce L. Germanceri was born March 30, 1934 in Granite City, Il a daughter to Francis and Clara Esther (nee Merseal) Guenther. She died on February 22, 2012 in Union at the of 77. She lived for many years on the Guenther farm in Fletcher. She worked for the Richwoods School district as a bus driver and librarian and had also worked at McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft. She is survived by two daughters: Janiese "Jan" (John,Sr.) Nolan, Union, and Cindy (Jimmy) Klaus, St. Peters; a daughter-in-law Tina Germanceri, Fletcher; four brothers: Charles "Chuck" (Gerry) Guenther, Jackson, Howard Guenther, Wood River, Il, Ray (Lucille) Guenther, Granite City, Il and John (Glenda) Guenther, De Soto; one sister: Delores (Fred) Cavins, Granite City, Il; eight grandchildren: Jodie Anderson, Anthony P "Bud" Germanceri, III, Joseph Germanceri, John Nolan. Jr., Julia Meiners, Jennifer Siegfred, Jason Kaempfe, and Ashley, Kaempfe; eight great grandchildren: Marissa Nolan, Anne Nolan, Patrick Nolan, Reghan Nolan, Andrew Nolan, Anthony "Tiger" Germanceri IV, Aedan Meiners, and Dylan Arndt. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Anthony P. Germanceri, Sr.; her son Anthony P. "Fuzz" Germanceri, Jr.; four brothers: Francis J. Guenther, Jr., Morgan Guenther, Don Guenther, and Larry Guenther; and three sisters: Hazel Cliff, Virginia Guenther, and Shirley Guenther.
