Margaret Elizabeth "Beth" Brock passed from this life Friday, Feb. 13. She was born in Bandera on Feb. 2, 1929.
Although she spent most of her life in Bandera, for the past 9 years, Beth resided at Stone Oak Care Center in San Antonio.
She is survived by her son, Johnny Brock; twin sister Edith Applegate; brother Kelly Shuptrine; and brother-in-law Jack Dougherty. Beth also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
She was predeceased by her parents, John D. and Thelma Shuptrine; sister Edna Dougherty; brother John David Shuptrine; and sisters-in-law, Sarah Cardwell Shuptrine and Pat Shuptrine.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am, Friday, Feb. 20, at Bandera United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry McRory officiating. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
