Mary Jane Varner Cairns passed from this life on March 18, 2015 in Marble Falls, Texas.
Jane was born May 28, 1928 in Tucson, Arizona to Sudie Singleton Varner and Charlie Varner.
Jane married Robert Cairns on December 21, 1951.
Jane retired from the City of Scottsdale, Arizona. She lived in Arizona her entire life until a few years ago when she moved to Marble Falls, Texas. She was still in contact with longtime friends in Arizona and California.
Jane enjoyed hunting, especially when she and Robert would go to Alaska.
Jane loved her dog Butch, she was baptized into Christ at an early age and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, son Cline Cairns, and husband "Bob" Robert.
Jane is survived by a brother, Eugene Varner of Marble Falls, Texas, and several cousins.
A memorial will be held at a later date to be determined.
Jane's cousins, Cathy Felps and Lillie Fay Hopkins want to thank the employees of Granite Mesa for the good care she was given during her stay at Granite Mesa.
