Donald Gaines Allsup died September 4, 2008. He was born April 20, 1932. Mr. Allsup retired from the Scottsdale Police Department in 1981. He was a sergeant with the Scottsdale Special Drug Unit. He loved fishing and hunting and spending time with his family and close friends, all of whom were very dear to him. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Sharon (Stormy) Allsup; three sons, Donald, Berry and Robert; two daughters-in-law, Michelle and Sheere; five grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, September 10, with viewing at 10 a.m., at Messinger Payson Funeral Home, 302 W. Aero Drive. Interment will be at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park.
