Amy Buchanan, 92, of Allendale, died at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 1995 at Shurtleff Nursing Manor in Mt. Carmel.
Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Ingram Funeral Home in Allendale. Burial will be in Adams Corner Cemetery, west of Allendale.
Buchanan was born Nov. 28, 1903 in Griffin, Ind., the daughter of Oliver and Elizabeth (Stoneberger) Handshoe. She married Ogle Buchanan in 1920. He preceded her in death Feb. 10, 1968.
She is survived by one son, Foster Buchanan, of Allendale; two daughters, Melba Fryburger, of Allendale, and Joan Shepard and her husband, Carl, of Mt. Carmel; one sister, Florence White, of Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
