She was born December 23, 1936 in Douglas, Oklahoma to Chester Paul Mercer and Maudie Esther Roelse Mercer. Patty married Lee Baker on December 25, 1953 in Skellytown, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, Lee; children, John Baker and wife, Robbye, Tim Baker and wife, Linda, Matt Baker and wife, Julie and Melissa Sullivan and husband, John, nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and siblings, Sue White and husband, Donald, Paula Huffman and Sherry Huffman and husband, Gary.
