Actress, Television Hostess. Early in her career, Golub played multiple theaters; the Moskontsert, the Satirikon, and the Shalom Theater. In 2002, she played the Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre. Awards include the Honored Artist of Russia in 1995 and Order of Friendship in 2008. Her first television show was “Holiday Every Day,” but she is well known for her performances for Morning Mail, Ah, Semenovna, Girls, and Travelling Naturalist. She made more than a dozen films, the first in 1980, but she was best known for The Burning Land (2003), A Driver for Vera (2004) and Mamy (translation Moms) (2012). She had three marriages; the first to an entrepreneur with whom she had a daughter, then she married actors Vadim Dolgachov and then Anatoliy Belyy. The last love of her life was businessman, multi-millionaire and furniture tycoon, Mikhail Kravchenko. He was murdered in May 2012, making headlines as the personal friend of Prince Michael of Kent. Five months later, Golub died instantly in a head-on collision when her car was struck by a Cadillac running a red light. Her grave is located on the “Avenue of Actors.”
