****************
Uncle Ray was married to my Aunt Helen (Mnick) Breese, my mother's sister. He was always a good guy, taking the nieces and nephews places, including on some of Helen and Ray's vacations.
Whenever anyone in the family had an electrical job to be done, no matter how small, Uncle Ray was always more than willing to help out. He and Helen enjoyed travelling all over the country, and had many friends.
I was fascinated with his tattoos when I was a child. They were all run together and all one color, not like the tattoos that are done today. I remember he had one with his middle name included, "Leon". I think he kind of regretted getting all those tattoos while in the Navy, because he would tell others not to do it.
