Martha was the youngest child of Adam and Sophie (Belevich) Drobushevich. She attended East Moline Schools and graduated from United Township High School in 1944. She was employed at John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline, until she retired in 1981. She loved music and was taught to play piano.
