James Harley Cutshaw, age 72, of Bernard Ave., Greeneville, formerly of the Sunnyside Community of Greene County, passed away Saturday morning, April 5, 2003, at Life Care Center of Greeneville.

He was of the Baptist faith. He was retired from Regency Health Care Center in Newport. He was a longtime employee of Dave's Oil Company and Takoma Adventist Hospital. Harley will be remembered by his bright smile for everyone and for his love of family.

Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Rhonda and Jimmy Humbert, Debbie and Jim Southerland, and Lisa Cutshaw, all of Greene County; one son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Gail Cutshaw, of Jefferson City; one special grandson, Kyle Cutshaw, of Jefferson City; brother and sister-in-law, J.D. and Kim Cutshaw, of Georgia; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Bertie and Leonard Shelton, of Greeneville, and Nancy and Vern Taylor, of Chicago; three special aunts, Rosalee Ramsey, Pauline Cutshall, and Edith Turbyfill, all of Greene County.

Several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mitzi Cutshaw; his mother, Mary Ellen Cutshaw Hope; father, Howard Cutshaw; step-father, Ross Hope; brother, Raymond Cutshaw; infant brother, Buddy Cutshaw; and an infant sister, Edith Cutshaw.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, 2003, at Rose Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery with Dr. Jerry Mullendore officiating.

Active pallbearers will be Jim Shelton, Gary Shelton, Rob Shelton, Tim Shelton, Steve Kelley, and Jim Southerland.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Rose Hill Funeral Home, Greeneville.
