Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the First Methodist Church in Bulls Gap with Rev. Trentham, assisted by Rev. O. R. Tarwater and Rev. P. D. Fletcher, officiating. Interment will be in Phillipi Cemetery.
Pall bearers will be Sandy Haun, Willie Coward, Dallas Massengill, Talmadge Pinkston, Fred Rader, and Billy Nichols.
Flower bearers will be members of the Women's Society of Christian Service of the First Methodist Church.
The body, which remains at Stewart Funeral Home, will lie in state for one hour before services.
Survivors include, in addition to the widow, four sons, Joe and Henry of Greenville. Lynn and Bill of Bulls Gap; four daughters, Mrs. A. P. Gilliam of California, Mrs. L. C. Chaney of Maryland, Mrs. Monroe Walker of Bulls Gap, and Miss Blanche Albright of Greenville; and fourteen grandchildren.
