Derek Bromell
Derek Ryan Bromell died Friday, June 21, 1991, at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. He was born two days earlier at Cushing Memorial Hospital on June 19, 1991.
Survivors include his parents, Steven and Gwen Bromell, Lansing; one brother, John and one sister, Stephanie, both of the home; paternal grandparents, John and Norma Bromell, Leavenworth; maternal grandmother, Shirley Pyle, Blue Springs, Mo.; maternal grandfather, Jack Chambers, Leavenworth; paternal great-grandmother, Stella Singer, Leavenworth; maternal great-grandmother, Eileen Vermillion, Leavenworth; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Belden-Sexton-Sumpter Funeral Chapel.
The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association or to Children's Mercy Hospital.
