Maylea Cadence Estridge was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), an inoperable brain tumor, on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. She fought courageously for 14 months and 14 days. Maylea passed away in Arkansas Children's Hospital at 11:25 AM on Monday, June 8, 2015 in her mother's arms, with her family by her side.

Maylea was born in Benton, AR. on Thursday, October 25, 2007 to Jacob “Trey” Estridge and Morgan Styles. She loved singing, dancing, drawing, swimming, playing dress-up, putting on make-up, playing outside, picking flowers and spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her great-great grandparents; Annabelle and E. N. Ward. She is survived by her parents, grandparents; Gary Styles, Mark Estridge, Karren Scallion and Debbie White, sister; Abbie Layne Zimmerebner, Uncles; Lance Styles Jr., Jeremy Martin and Corey Estridge, aunts; Dawn Martin and Lychon Estridge, cousins; Justin Martin, Austin Martin, London Estridge, Seth, Noah and Aiden Estridge and numerous other relatives and friends who all loved her and will miss her dearly.

A Celebration of Life was held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Northside Church of Christ, 917 N. East Street, Benton, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to Dial and Dudley Funeral Home, 4212 Highway 5, North in Bryant.
