Mildred Amey, age 75, of Dayton, departed this life peacefully March 15, 2016.
She retired from the Veterans Administration Center after a 25 year career. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church for over 25 years where she served as an Elder. She instrumented several youth programs and volunteered with various organizations in the Dayton area.
Preceded in death by her husband, George Amey, mother, Ruth Nunn, father, Albert Nunn, son, Carl Douglas Jr.
Mildred is survived by her children, Geraldine (William) Taylor, Carla Douglas, brothers, Kenneth (Nina) and Richard (Sharon) Scott, a host of relatives and friends.
