CHATEAUGAY LAKE
Asher Bracy died at his home at Chateaugay Lake Sunday, Dec 30, 1917, after a lingering illness. Mr. Bracy was another one of our old soldiers having served in Co. G., 193 regiment N. Y. Volunteers. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Bracy, one sister, Mrs. Jennie Perham, of Chateaugay, two brothers, Samuel of Burke, and Levi, of Ogdensburg. Also two daughters, Mrs. Flora White, of Athol, Mass., Mrs. Nellie Sweet, of Chateaugay Lake and two sons, George, of Chateaugay Lake and Ernest, of Athol, Mass.
Ernest Bracy, of Athol, Mass., has returned to his home, having been called here by the sickness of his father, Asher Bracy.
John Finch and Eddie Sweet, of Piercefield, attended the funeral of Asher Bracy.
