W. H. Harris was born on May 13, 1837 at Dallas City, Illinois, and died March 21, 1913 at Harmon, Oklahoma, aged 75 years, 10 months, and 17 days.
He was married to Mariah Walker in the year of 1858, to which union three children were born. He was married in 1868 to Malisa Rossetts, four children were born to this union.
Mr. Harris moved from Illinois to Kansas in 1879, moving to Ellis County, Oklahoma in 1901.
He was married in the year of 1907 to Mrs. Sarah Richardson. Four children are left to mourn his departure.
