Spanish Singer. Born in Badajoz (Extremadura), she studied music in the conservatory and played the violin. After several years working in girls orchestras, she began her career as a singer of popular Madrid songs known as Chotis and Cuplés, becoming a celebrated representative of the Madrid "castizo." Among her works are "Las Noches del Cuplé" and "Madrid, entre cuplés y canciones."
