Jodie Banfield, 53, of Atlantic City, passed away suddenly, Saturday, at Jefferson Hospital Neurosciences in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Born to Charles and Bessie Banfield, Jodie was a lifelong resident of Atlantic City, where she attended Atlantic City Public Schools graduating from Atlantic City High School and Atlantic Community College, earning her Associate Degree. She was a member of Union Baptist Temple Church and also a member of The Golden Circle.
Jodie was employed at Bally's, Harrah's, Showboat, Verizon and The Atlantic City Convention Center.
She was predeceased by her brother Scott. Jodie leaves to mourn: son, Justin; parents; sister of Pleasantville; brother of Atlantic City; god-sons; and a host of other family and many friends.
Services at Union Baptist Temple, Pennsylvania and Drexel Avenues, Atlantic City. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Pleasantville.
