Harry Frederick Rice was the son of Harry D. and Belle Rice. He married Geraldine Dollar on 5 June 1925 in Seattle. Edwin M. Randall of Chehalis, Washington officiated. Geraldine F. Dremolski and James H. Kidd witnessed the ceremony. After Harry's death Geraldine married Malcom Russell Roger on 19 March 1971 in Palm Beach County, Florida.
In 1930 Geraldine and Harry were living with their son Harry Dollar Rice at 2931 10th Avenue West in Seattle. In 1940 Geraldine, Harry and their son were living at 5000 Sunset Drive in Kansas City, Missouri. Harry managed an automobile agency.
In 1960 Harry and Geraldine were living at 6416 High Drive in Kansas City, Missouri. Harry was the president of Rice Investment Corporation.

He was a member of the board of trustees of the Boca Raton Community Hospital. He was a member of the Kansas city Club, the Rion court 54 and a Shriner. He was also a member of the Saddle and Sirloin Club and the Rova Palm Yacht and Country Club.
He leaves his wile. Gerry Dollar and son, H. D. Rice end two grandsons.
Funeral service will be at 11 A.M. Saturday at the KRAEER BOCA RATON FUNERAL HOME. Friends may call from 7-9 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will take olace in Kansas City, Mo. The family requests contributions to the Boca Raton Community Hospital."
