Benjamin Calvert (1811-69), son of George (1771-1824(?) and Anne Jennings Calvert (1788-1856(?), married c1837, Amanda Hunniman (1821-60), in Wheeling, (W)Va. They lived in Rappahannock County, Va. and moved before 1860 to Platte County, Mo. Their ten children were infant (1838); Sarah Ann (1840-); Mary Virginia (1842-); George W. (1846-88) who married had children and died in Sonoma, Ca.; James R. (1847-); Samuel Ralls (1851-); John Jett (1853-) who lived in Williamstown, Kan.; Benjamin (1855-); Richard Waller (1858-1948); and Jesse Miller Munford Calvert (1860-1944).

Jesse Miller Munford Calvert (1860-1944) married (1) in 1882, Winnie Day (1865-93), daughter of Cornelius and Nancy Jane Curtis Day, of Tracy, Mo. Their children were Edwin Day (1887-1952); Jennie May (1890-1959) who married Calvin Casper Murphy (1892-1969); and Benjamin Curtis Calvert (1892-d.inf.). He married (2) in 1894, K. Elizabeth Geyer (1858-1913), daughter of Christopher and Mary Blanton Geyer (1827-1900). A son was Robert R. Calvert (1895-1952). He married (3) Nancy Hamner (1873-1935). Edwin Day Calvert (1887-1952) lived in Kansas City and married in 1911, Eleanor "Nelle" Susan Hamner (1892-1952), daughter of Benjamin Franklin (c1886-) and Nannie Lou Powell Hamner (1873-1935) of Platte City, Mo. Their sons were Ted Munford (1912-) who lived in Kansas City and married in 1938, Evelyn Jean Bradley (1914-), daughter of Thomas (1885-1971) and Laura Johnson Bradley (1889-1953), of Olathe, Kan.; and Harold M. Calvert (1914-).
