Carol married Percy G. Brewer on Dec. 12, 1961, in Vernon, British Columbia. Carol and her husband Percy lived in Leavenworth, Wash., until 1981 when they decided to start a new adventure and move to Fairbanks. She worked in the customer service industry for the last 20 years, including the school district, Sam's Sourdough Café, Sam's Club and finally a home daycare.
Never to marry again, she felt accomplished and proud that she raised her remaining three children by herself after losing her husband in 1988. [note: actual year of death was 1987.]
She is survived by their children, Brenda Brewer, Juanita Brewer, Antoinette (Toni) Brewer, of Fairbanks; Percy Brewer, of Anchorage; Brandon Brewer, of Sioux City, S.D.; and grandchildren, Dominique Tesoriero and Chloe Brewer.
