Haiti President. The son of dictator François "Papa Doc" Duvalier, he succeeded his father in 1971, and wielded dictatorial powers until he was overthrown in an 1986 uprising. He lived in exile in France until 2011, when he returned to Haiti and was arrested on human rights abuse and corruption charges. He died of a heart attack in 2014 before the conclusion of his trial.
