Bobby R. Angermiller, Sr. was born on December 12, 1953 in Uvalde, Texas to Helen (Coker) and Marvin Edward Angermiller. After moving to Ruidoso in 1978, he served in law enforcement. He started his career with the Ruidoso Downs Police Department, and he retired from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department in New Mexico after 20 years of service. He also worked as a safety officer for Diversified Oilfield Services in Hobbs, New Mexico. He loved his family, never met a stranger and would assist people in need. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sherri Arnett Angermiller of Ruidoso; one son, B.J. Angermiller and wife, Christi, of Boerne; one daughter, Codi Burnham and husband, Khyle, of Maricopa, Arizona; one granddaughter, Bentley Burnham; one brother, Roy Angermiller and wife, Pam, of Knippa; one brother-in-law, Bobby Arnett; two sisters-in-law, Linda Morris and husband, Mike, and Peggy Lawing, all of Ruidoso, New Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
