Phillip W. Lainhart (Phil Lain), 67,

Kansas City, died Sept. 17, 2014, at home. Phil leaves wife, Kathy Cord Lainhart , daughters, Michelle Moore and Jennifer Freeman (Brandon), brother, David, sisters, Jerry Ann and Susan, 7 grandsons, nieces and nephews, his furry children, Mimi and Stewie, and best friends, Kevin and Linda Fewell. Phil was an actor (Phil Lain); story teller; the Rajah of Roulette during his years at Harrah's Casino and worked his last years at the Savoy Hotel. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa and friend. Thanks Bob Koehn for that last fishing trip that made him so happy. The family also wishes to thank the staff at Davita Dialysis and all of his doctors for their years of wonderful care as well as Crossroads Hospice for their care in his final days. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Union Cemetery Historical Society, 227 E. 28th Terrace, KCMO 64108. Celebration of Life 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Kansas City North Community Center, 3930 NE Antioch Rd.
