George W. Tucker, 96, of Butman Township, died Monday, April 30, in Saginaw Veterans Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Paulding County, Ohio, on January 14, 1888, he came to Gladwin County in 1901 and farmed. He was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Rites were held Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin Chapel. The Rev. Carl Briggs officiated and burial was in the Ridge Cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 05-09/1984 Column - 6 Page - 2
