Born July 10, 1949, in Galveston, TX, Skip was an avid golfer and faithful member of his church. He will be remembered for his generous and loving personality, and for his kind and genuine heart.
He is preceded in passing by parents, Agnes Derouen and Lumis Beyoncé Sr.; and brother Melvin Marsh Jr.
He is survived by his devoted wife Cynthia; sons, Terrance Beyoncé and Terrell (Malu) Beyoncé; daughters, Andrea (Stan) Beyoncé, Lynn Beyoncé, Michelle Beyoncé, Dominique (Jimmie) Beyoncé-Hilton; Grandchildren, Deandre Beyoncé, Ledreya Washington, Jordan Beyoncé, J’la Butler, Caesar Beyoncé, and Bliss Beyoncé; Former spouse Barbara Beyoncé; Siblings, Selena Rittenhouse, Roland (Jeanette) Beyoncé, Florence (Jimmy) Hilliard, Larry Beyoncé, & Tina (Richard) Lawson; and a host of family and friends.
