She was a member of Destiny Christian Church, Richmond, Va., and Union Prospect Baptist Church, Cologne, Va. She was a member of the Lower King and Queen Volunteer Fire Department.
She is survived by her husband, Johnnie L. Brown Jr.; three sons, Johnnie L. Brown III of Manassas Park, Va., Keith Brown of Baltimore, Md., and Frank Graves Jr. of Pleasantville, N.J.; three daughters, Robin Bloch of Havre de Grace, Md., Leslie M. Cairms of Norfolk, Va., and Tiffany N. Graves of Plainview, Va.; mother, Mrs. Gertrude J. Jones of Plainview, Va.; two sisters, Marie J. Smith of Shacklefords, Va., and Doris M. Jones of Plainview, Va.; one brother, Leonard M. Jones Jr. of Plainview, Va.; eight grandchildren, two sons-in-law and one daughter-in-law.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, March 21, 1995, at Union Prospect Baptist Church, Cologne, Va.
