James E. Witt James E. Witt, 89, of Shell Beach passed on October 23, 2015, in his home with his family by his side. Born in West Virginia in August 1926. He joined the U.S. Army and came to Camp San Luis and Morro Bay, where he met the love of his life and married her. He was a baker his whole life and retired from Oroweat Bakery in Montebello. They then moved to their home in Shell Beach. He loved his family, singing, playing guitar and wood working. James is survived by his wife, Alice of 68 years; children, Jim Witt (Karen), and Cindy Wilson (Rick); grandchildren: Amy Givens (Brian), Jodi Larson (Jody), Mike Henson (Carrie), Jimmy Witt (Emily) and Justin Wilson (Nikki), as well as 11 great-grandchildren. The family wants to thank Wilshire Hospice for their loving care. Funeral services are under the direction of Marshall Spoo Funeral Home Sunset Chapel in Grover Beach.
