He was born April 7, 1925 in Lisow, Poland, the son of Casimirus and Paulina Kozuch. He married Elizabeth "Betty" Doyle on June 6, 1959. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents; one sister and three brothers.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary (James) Jordan, Bloomington; two grandchildren, Patrick Lott, Bloomington and Eric Lott, Normal; one sister, Mary Head, Chana and many nieces and nephews.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during World War II. He was a navigator flying B25s in the Pacific arena and was on Tinian Island when the bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. He was awarded two Distinguished Flying Crosses and one Air Medal.
