Irma Ruth Hill, 65, of Chattanooga, TN died Friday, July 13, 2012.
She was born December 5, 1946 in Athens, TN, to the late Millard and Mildred Skelton.
She was a member of the East Brainerd Church of Christ.
Mrs. Hill loved nature gardening and especially roses. She was a rosarian with the Chattanooga Rose Society, as well as a master gardener.
Survivors include her husband Don Hill; children Wesley Stuart Hill, Carrie (Rodney) Bethune and Jason F. (Denise) Hill; grandchildren Bradley Bethune, Garrison Bethune, Colton Bethune and Ansley Lynn Hill; sisters Martha Jackson, of Sweetwater, TN, and Stella Jo Tate of Hiram, Ga.; brother Warren Skelton, of Athens, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday July 18, 2012 at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Minister Frank Ford officiating.
Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday July 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
