"Uncle Beans" was too young to fulfill his patriotic wish to serve his country in THE GREAT WAR and was deemed 'too old', by his country's age standards to serve in the 2nd World War so he signed up with the Canadians.

He drowned crossing the Po River in his service for world peace. May he rest in peace.
