Oma Antoinette Mitchener Colvin, 94, died March 13, 2004, in Las Cruces, N.M.
..She was born to Frank and Goldie Ashcraft on Aug. 4, 1909, in Uniontown, Kan. At a young age, she traveled with her family in a covered wagon to Colorado where her father farmed. She graduated valedictorian of her high school class and, after attending business school, worked in Gibson's Department Store.
..In 1935, she married Ira Mitchener and had one son, John. While Ira worked in banking, she was involved in homemaking, John's school activities, the garden club and the First Baptist Church of Canon City.
..Ira died in 1971 and five years later, she married Aura Colvin.
..In 1995 Mrs. Colvin moved to Las Cruces,N.M., to be near her son and his wife.
..She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Imo and Eunice; a brother, Elvis; husbands, Ira H. Mitchener and Aura A. Colvin; and two stepsons, Earl and Allen Mitchener.

She is survived by her son, a grandson, three step-daughters, and a step-granddaughter, three step-grandsons, six great -grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, three nieces and one nephew.

Services were held March 22 at Holt Funeral Home.
