Born on December 4, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Dennis J. Brislin and Stella (Rydzewski) Brislin.
She worked as bookkeeper for a video production house in Bethesda Md for many years but was most proud of being a wife and mother.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and 25 year member of the St James Catholic Church Parish in Boonsboro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Theodore Thomas Abromavage, Sr. and 3 sisters and 1 brother.
She is survived by her children, Anne Smith and husband Chet of Windsor, PA, Ted Abromavage, Jr. and wife Ellen of Potomac, Maryland, Mark Abromavage and wife Molly of Fairfax Station, VA, and Michael Abromavage and wife Caroline of Fairfax Station, VA; grandchildren, Andy, Philip and Mary Jo Smith; Hayley, Nathan and Sam Abromavage; Emma and Ava Abromavage; and Nora and Adam Abromavage;
The Rev. John Jicha will officiate a Funeral Mass at 11:00am on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at St. James Catholic Church, 121 North Main Street, Boonsboro, Maryland. A reception will be held in the church fellowship hall immediately following the burial in Boonsboro Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the Bast-Stauffer Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro Maryland. Prayers will be offered at 5pm.
