Memorial services for Frank.D.Irons,Sr.78, of Belton, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March27th, 2015 ,at Anchor of Hope Fellowship, with Rev. Sam Callaway officiating.
Mr. Irons died Wednesday, March 18th, 2015 , in a Temple hospital.
Mr. Irons was born June 14, 1936, in Decatur, Alabama, the son of James William Irons and Maxine McBay Irons. He married Jo Burks, March 23, 1963, in El Paso. He was a graduate of Decatur High School and Temple Jr. College.
He served in the Alabama National Guard, the United States Marine Corps, and retired from the United States Army, in 1977. He also worked for 7 years with Texas Instruments and 13 years with Western Auto Supply Co.
He was a member of the Anchor of Hope Fellowship, in Belton, Tx.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Irons of Belton, three sons: Bart Irons of Belton; Lynn Irons and wife Vanissa, of Temple; Frank Irons, Jr. and girlfriend, Carri Johnson, of Belton; daughter, Cheri Seaton and husband, Bobby, of Belton; one sister, Mrs. Jean Nichols of Decator, Alabama; brother-in-law Danny Burks and wife Cheryl, of Lorena; five grandchildren, Brandy Ward, Lisa Branham, Zachary Irons, Andelyn Irons, and Chelsea Seaton; one great grandchild, Zailey Ward.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Anchor of Hope Fellowship, in Belton.
Dossman Funeral Home, of Belton, is in charge of arrangements.
