Chesapeake - Barbara Lois Cook, 93, passed away on February 19, 2017, in her home. Born in Cambridge, MA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Eleanor Newcombe. She was the widow of Edgar Lewis Cook. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Scott.
Left to cherish her memory: a daughter, Valerie Campbell; sons, David, Richard, Theodore, and Stephen Cook; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017, at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Hollomon-Brown, Great Bridge Chapel.
