Jack was born on June 24, 1951 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Fred and Marge Lockyear.
Jack was a very independent man who loved visits, seeing people, and riding his chair to the store and around Evansville. He went to camp Cook for handicap children until he was 18 and loved going every year. He loved Nascar and went to a few races with his brother. Jack traveled to England in 1995 to visit his uncle Butch.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Mike Lockyear, Tom Lockyear; nephews, Michael Lockyear Jr., Shawn Odom.
Jack is survived by his siblings, Sue Priest and her husband, Don of Henderson, KY; Fred Lockyear and his wife, Chantal of Voldosta, GA; Frances Heim of Evansville, IN; Jean Laswell of Elberfeld, IN; Joan Miller and her husband, Bill of Newburgh, IN; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
