Marilyn Lee "Auntie" Morris, 63, of Abilene passed away on February 21, 2017 in Abilene.

Visitation will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, February 23rd at The Hamil Family Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, February 24 at The Hamil Family Funeral Home. With Pastor Chris of Southside Church of God, officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Marilyn was born in Lamesa, Texas to Lee M. Hester and Charlsie Waller on December 10, 1953. She was retired.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and sister and brother-in-law Judy and Bill Arthur.

Marilyn is survived by Gerald Poulton of Abilene, sister: Sheila and husband Dwain Wadlington of Abilene, sister: Diane and husband Ricky Gibbs of Abilene, sister: Loisann and husband Jay Massingill of Weatherford, Texas, brother: James and wife Ann Hester of Abilene, brother: Clifton and Susie Hester of Abilene. Numerous nieces and nephews and great- nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Darrell (D.D.) and Brandon Gibbs, Chad and Steven Wadlington, Evan Hester, Christopher Massingill, B.J. Wrady, Billy Williams, Honoary pallbearers, Rowdy Hester and Hunter Williams.
