The daughter of Daniel Webster and Sarah Elizabeth (Gipe) Sparks and wife of Edgar T. Bonham, Sr., Ruth retired from the old Zayre Department Store. She died at Caritas Medical Center at the age of 95, and was interred at Cave Hill on 28 July 1997.
