Antipope. His real name was Pedro Martínez de Luna born in Illueca (Aragón). He was designed Pope in Avignon in 1394 as Benedictus XIII during Western Schism. He is best known as Pope Luna. Benedictus XIII was deposed in 1417. Then, he moved to a castle in Peñíscola (Castellón, Comunidad Valenciana) where died in an uncertain date (some sources say November 29 in 1422). His body was buried in the castle and later moved to Illueca. But during Succession War in Spain his body was destroyed. Only his skull was saved and rest in Condes de Argillo Palace in Aragón (Spain).
