Marcus Vincent "Mark" Aarons was born on October 27, 1979 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Allen and Michelle (Allen) Aarons. He was a senior in high school, and was preparing to enter Louisiana State University in May, where he would have been majoring in Anatomy and Physiology with fundamental basic studies in Kinesiology. His dream was to become a high school basketball coach and possibly teach American History on the side. He loved history, and was very athletic. He played basketball, tennis, baseball, and racquetball. He was an avid fan of Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. He wanted to attend a game, and shoot a free throw from the center court line. He had a fascination of old cars, which he inherited from his grandfather. On his twenty-first birthday, he purchased his first car, which he called the "Blue Magoo". He would drive his friends and his brother, Thomas, to school in order to show off the car. He will be remembered as a model student who cared for his fellow friends, and never wanted to see them go without. He is survived by his parents, Allen and Michelle Aarons of New Orleans, LA. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Quinton and Paulette Aarons, maternal grandparents, Robert and Amanda Allen, and his brother, Thomas Andrew Aarons.
