Age 55; she was a daughter of Amos T and Elizah (Stewart) Fox. She married Hugh Miller Tremaine in 1915. Her father was a professor at Whitworth college when the school was located in Tacoma. Her grandfather, the late Calvin W. Stewart Sr. was the first president of the college. Her husband was the district engineer for the Northern Pacific Railway. Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Hugh Stewart Tremaine attending Yale Law school; brother Calvin Stewart Fox of Olympia; aunts Miss Sarah C. Stewart and Mrs. T. a. Blackburn of Victoria; and uncle Calvin W. Stewart of Tacoma.
