I went to church with Howard for 8 years. He was a very sweet man. He always wore cowboy boots and a cowboy hat. I always got the impression he was born in the wrong era. He would've fit nicely in the wild west as one of the good guys. I could easily picture him wearing a uniform and being part of the Calvary. He is truly missed.
