Wilma Townsend, 89, resident of Spencer, died Monday, June 14, 2004 at Dawson Elderly Care in Spencer.

Born September 7, 1914 in Freedom, she was the daughter of Ross and Bertha (Burkett) Duling.

Her church affliation was the First Church of the Nazarene in Spencer.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou and Don Jones of SPencer; one son and daughter-in-law, Don and Gloria Townsend; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Truman Townsend; one sister, Frances Maudlin; and two brothers, Howard Duling and Russell Duling.

Services were conduted Tursday, June 17, 2004 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer. Rev. David Warren officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.

Memorial contribuations should be directed to the First Church of the Nazarene in Spencer.
