ANGER, Maurice - Band Leader Maurice Anger passed away at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley on Sunday, October 9, just 16 days shy of his 88th birthday.
Maurice was a devoted member of the Musician's Union Locals 6 and 424. His career spanned seven decades.
He became a professional pianist at age 15, leading a 15 piece orchestra.
He was a proud member of both the Bohemian Club and Family Club.
He is survived by Jerrie, his loving wife of 59 years; his three children, Rick, Randy and Adrienne; and his five grandchildren, Ryan, Jamie, Anna, Noah and Maya.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 15, 3:00, at Oakmont Memorial Park, 2099 Reliez Valley Rd, Lafayette, CA.
